Ten years ago marks the anniversary of the death of one of the Shackleton Foundation Founders, Henry Worsley and we are excited that his son, Max Worsley will be continuing his legacy - literally following in his father’s and Shackleton’s, footsteps to the South Pole along with Martin Nesse, a Norwegian adventurer. The Onwards expedition’s purpose is to motivate young people to connect with the natural word and to increase awareness of the threats Antarctica faces from climate change, raising funds for the British Exploring Society and the Earthshot Prize, founded by Prince William who is also the expedition Patron. We will enjoy following the planning and preparation that it takes to do these amazing adventures and wish you both good luck on this memorable journey
